Burnished Mortar + Pestle

Wheel thrown, interior is hand burnished or sealed through rubbing the surface with a smooth stone, I use a Sodalite crystal to polish these. Hand built pestle with burnished end, and glazed end, you do you! 

best for herbs, teas, flowers, and softer things that don’t require pounding or cracking things open…

about 5 inches wide and 3 inches deep, pestle is about 4 inches 

please hand wash and avoid the microwave
