Altar Candle Making | Monthly offering aligned with the Sun Season

THURSDAY DECEMBER 19TH from 6-8pm CAPRICORN SEASON

Around the changing of the Sun Season we will meet and either pour or repour your Altar Candle. After coming to class once, you will have the opportunity to come back each month to refill your candle, set a new intention, and work with the energy of that season. You are also welcome to pay for and pick a new vessel each time, but we wanted to offer the chance to reuse if desired. 

The art of crafting altar candles is a practice steeped in ancient tradition and spiritual significance. As hands carefully blend wax with aromatic herbs and oils, each candle becomes a vessel of intention and energy. The gentle flicker of the flame represents the eternal light of the divine, while the rising smoke carries prayers and wishes skyward. These sacred luminaries serve as focal points for meditation, ritual, and connection to the unseen realms. Whether used in solitary practice or communal ceremonies, altar candles illuminate the path between the mundane and the mystical, transforming ordinary space into hallowed ground.

Join Lauren Woods and Ally Leadbetter as they guide you into the process of crafting your own altar candle, with beautiful vessels hand made by Lauren. We will get into the power of prayer and intention, uniting our body, mind, soul and spirit to bring forward the magic to transform ourselves and the world. Ally will lead you through a short guided journey to discover what your deepest, most heart aligned prayer will be to create this candle. Then as you return to the crafting process, you get to infuse these intentions into each crystal, herb, and scent you choose. This is a highly intuitive process, but we will be here to support and guide you through the process!
